Hyderabad Gets India’s First PVR P[XL] Flat Screen Theater

PVR Cinemas is going to have the first P[XL] flat screen in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, so Hyderabad's moviegoers will be able to enjoy the wonderful film experience. The new cinema will be at Lakeshore Mall, Y Junction, Kukatpally.

The P[XL] screen will be mostly in the center of the theater where it will be almost 20 meters wide and 3 meters tall. It will use 4K RGB laser projection and RealD 3D technology for maximum image sharpness and depth.

The audio quality in the new PVR will be as good as the visual quality. The cinema will feature Dolby Atmos sound with JBL speakers and 16 subwoofers—eight surround and eight placed behind the screen—to provide immersive sound throughout the auditorium.

There will be over 290 seats available, mixing loungers and recliners so that every person watching the movie is comfortable. The design is not only perfect for watching the film with the best quality but also taking into account the accessibility that the different taste of the audience wants.

The coming up of PVR at Lakeshore Mall is a clear sign that the region has accepted the best in cinematic technology. January 2026 is the anticipated month for the launch, and the ticketing might be opened in the several weeks before the opening date.
